Dr. Benson Hsiung got his PhD from University of Bristol in the UK and then moved to London to work for several large-scale infrastructure projects in both the UK and Taiwan. He went back to Taiwan in August 2003 to join the university. His main research activities are deep excavations and soft ground tunneling. Simultaneously, he is also involved in some underground & offshore wind projects as technical consultant or advisor. Dr. Hsiung is a well-qualified British chartered civil engineer. He is the chair of AsRTC6 as well as member of TC204 and TC305 of ISSMGE, currently working for the Department of Civil Engineering of National Chung-Hsing University in Taichung, Taiwan.

Castorina Silva Vieira is Associate Professor at the Civil Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, Portugal, Director of the Construction Materials Laboratory and Executive Vice-President of the Board of the "Institute for Sustainable Construction - ICS". She was Vice-President of the Portuguese Chapter of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) (2021-2024) and Deputy Secretary of the Portuguese Geotechnical Society (2020-2024). Member of the Technical Committees of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering: TC218 and TC307. Associate Editor of Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering, Advisory Board Member of Environmental Geotechnics and Editorial Board Member of Transportation Infrastructure Geotechnology, Sustainability, Advances in Civil Engineering and Frontiers in Built Environment.

Pijush Samui is a Professor in Civil Engineering at NIT Patna. His research expertise includes soil liquefaction and lateral spreading, reliability and risk analysis, artificial intelligence, disaster mitigation, and site characterisation. Dr. Samui has received several awards for excellence in research and teaching, including IIT Roorkee Shamsher Prakash Research Award, IGS – Sardar Resham Singh Memorial Award, IACMAG Excellent Regional Contributions Award. He is a fellow of Indian Society of Earthquake Technology (ISET). He is guest professor at University of Science and Technology, Beijing. He is also Title of Docent at Tamper University. He was Adjunct Professor at Ton Duc Thang University (Vietnam)(2018-21).

Dr. Priti Maheshwari is currently a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. She works extensively in the areas of ground improvement, soil-structure interaction, ground engineering: modeling and analysis, concrete gravity dams, machine foundations under blast loadings, risk analysis, landslides and slope stabilization, transportation geotechnics, and rock mechanics and rock engineering. She is an editorial board member of International Journal of Geotechnical Engineering and Indian Geotechnical Journal.

Professor Subhadeep Banerjee is a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Madras. With a PhD from the National University of Singapore, he specializes in seismic soil-foundation interactions, cyclic behavior of geomaterials, and modeling of transient problems. At IIT Madras, he leads three research groups exploring cyclic characterization of soils, constitutive modeling under seismic loads, and dynamics applications to complex soil-structure problems. His work contributes significantly to advancing geotechnical engineering practices and understanding soil behavior under various dynamic conditions.

Dr. Sumanta Haldar is Professor of Civil Engineering and presently Head of the School of Infrastructure at IIT Bhubaneswar. He earned his Ph.D. from IISc Bangalore and specializes in geotechnical engineering, with core expertise in offshore geotechnics, soil-structure interaction, dynamics of soil and foundation and reliability-based design. With over 15 years of academic and research experience, he blends theoretical modelling with computational and experimental methods. A recipient of the Prof. Leonards Best Ph.D. Thesis Award, he has published widely in reputed journals. Dr. Haldar leads several sponsored research projects and significantly contributes to infrastructure development, promoting sustainable and resilient solutions for energy and civil engineering applications.

Dr. Sunil S. Basarkar has Industry experience of more than 20 years and 16 years association with Academia in the field of foundations and Geotechnical engineering. As a field professional actively involved in geotechnical and foundation initiatives including ground improvement and strengthening works for mega infrastructural projects. He has spearheaded introduction of CFA piling technology in India. He is member of ISSMGE and Fellow of several professional organization like the Institution of Engineers (India), Indian Geotechnical Society and serves as Editor Board member of DFI Journal (USA).
